Spanish international David De Gea just cannot stay out of the news, as it seems. With speculations of his potential move to Real Madrid slowly fading now, it seems the 24 year old superstar is all set to be recalled for Saturday’s clash against the Red Devils’ fierce rivals Liverpool, as per what the Daily Telegraph has reported.
The Spaniard has not played a single game till now this season, due to his transfer talks with the former European champions, though a deal did not materialize eventually.
As he remained at Old Trafford, there were still doubts how his future would unwind and it seems that there is a possible answer now. It is still not certain whether the former Atletico Madrid keeper will remain with the Premier League giants or not, but he is still here at least until January.
Manager Louis van Gaal would not have been pleased with Sergio Romero’s performance against Swansea City and will give his number one keeper from last season yet another chance to prove himself with the first-team. Hopefully, De Gea can perform for United like he did last season and earn back his spot in the starting eleven.
