Premier League XI who might leave the Premier League next season

With many players rumoured or confirmed to leave at the end of the season it would not be surprising to assume that we can make a whole starting line up of quality players from just the players who might not appear in the Premier League next season. Here at Soccersouls we give you the Best XI out of those players who might not stay in the Premier League next season.

Goalkeeper

Mark Schwarzer (Chelsea) – With his contract up in the summer at Chelsea it is expected that this 42 year old veteran goalkeeper will move back to his native country Australia to finish his career. A quality goalkeeper who was the heartbeat of Fulham, he still has all the attributes needed to play for a good Premier League side.

Defenders

Bacary Sagna (Arsenal) – A world class right back who is also out of contract at the end of the season, it is expected that clubs from all over the world will form a queue to try and acquire the services of this Frenchman. At the moment it is looking likely that Sagna will head for the Serie A with Inter Milan currently expressing their interest.

Nemanja Vidic (Manchester United) – With the Manchester United captain already having declared that he is going to Inter Milan at the end of the season, he will be a huge loss to the Manchester United back line. He alongside Bacary Sagna will probably be the biggest free transfer out of the Premier League this season.

John Heitinga (Everton) – With John Heitinga not being played much this season, the Dutch defender has already been quoted as wanting to leave the Premier League side at the end of the season. With apparently offers already for Heitinga from the Italian side AS Roma and some Scottish sides he will be a big miss for the Premier League.

Ashley Cole (Chelsea) – Ever since the arrival of Jose Mourinho, the English international who was an automatic starter at Chelsea has been frozen out and has since played only a bit part role in Chelsea’s campaign this season. With substantial interest from AC Milan and Chelsea needing money to buy a new striker it is very likely that Ashley Cole will move to the Serie A this summer.

Midfielders

Frank Lampard (Chelsea) – While Frank Lampard has been nothing short of a legend at the London club, his age means that this might very well be his last season at Chelsea. With very lucrative offers from the MLS already, this might be the final hooray for Frank Lampard at Chelsea.

John Obi Mikel (Chelsea) – John Obi Mikel is another Chelsea player who will probably be moved on by Jose Mourinho at the end of the season. With Galatasaray and former Man City manager Roberto Mancini showing keen interest in landing Mikel, it is looking more and more apparent that the midfielder’s limited time on the pitch this season will come to an end in the summer.

Luis Anderson (Manchester United) – Currently on loan at Fiorentina, this Manchester United player has no intention of coming back to the Premier League and will probably extend his stay in Italy. Anderson during his hay days was the engine behind Manchester United’s rampant domination of other clubs.

Strikers

Fernando Torres (Chelsea) – Fernando Torres is another player who will probably be moved on by Chelsea this summer. This fifty million man never found his feet during his time with Chelsea and was just a shadow of his former self at Liverpool. With Diego Costa’s possible arrival at Chelsea it is rumoured that Torres will move the other way round to Atletico Madrid.

Demba Ba (Chelsea) – Another Chelsea striker who will find a new club at the end of this season, Demba Ba looks all set to leave the league which gave him so much. In fact it is believed that he may very well leave the London club for a lucrative move to PSG.

Iago Aspas (Liverpool) – With Aspas getting limited chances this season after failing to impress it is being heard that come this summer Aspas will not be a Liverpool player. With several offers from various La Liga clubs it is expected that he will depart at the end of this season.
