The Premier League Rugby XI Featuring Chelsea, Manchester United And Others

Nemanja Matic: MID

The Chelsea presence doesn’t end just in the defense, Matic is another tank in midfield and is known to destroy attacks of the opposition, he can stifle an attack as easily and destroying a car with his hands, ok the latter was an exaggeration but the rest is all true.

Yaya Toure: MID

Yaya Toure has been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League and is known for his energy levels and great stamina. Not only can he play as a proper box to box midfielder, he can tackle well and score those vital goals. Plus, you really do not want to mess with him ever.

Lee Cattermole: MID

The Sunderland midfielder has a habit of making rather atrocious tackles and has often seen the red card but that still doesn’t stop him. He still hasn’t given up tackling, even if he ends up getting the player more than the ball.

Diego Costa: FWD

Chelsea Fabregas Costa

If any striker deserves to be on the list it is Costa, if anyone has seen him play, he is the proper thug footballer. Pulling away at jerseys and being a complete nuisance to the defenders, he is scary opposition but more than that he scores goals as well.

Wayne Rooney: FWD

He may not be fast but by God he is strong. Wayne Rooney has scored goals a plenty for Manchester United but it’s his physicality that puts him in this team.

Mario Balotelli: FWD

A striker waiting to get his goal scoring boots for Liverpool, Mario though is still a tough player to play against, he may not run about as much but he can be a tough striker and is strong as well.
