The Best Twitter Reactions And The Things We Learned As Chelsea Managed To Beat Norwich

Share

The Best Twitter reactions after the game:

1 – Norwich will get relegated based on their current form

Norwich will be getting worried that they are strong favourites to get relegated which would cause them to miss out on an enhanced Premier League TV deal next season. The Canaries are struggling for goals with just four scored in their last eight league games and despite bringing in players like Steven Naismith in January, they have a big problem.

Norwich striker Jerome should have scored in the second half but he hit the bar from six yards out and it looks like Norwich are missing a consistent striker. Norwich need to find some good form soon, especially with important fixtures coming up against fellow relegation candidates Sunderland and Newcastle.

2 – Chelsea and Guus Hiddink are a very good combination

Chelsea are now eighth in the table with the win at Carrow Road and they are back in the top half of the table since the first week of the season. It looks as though the decision to sack Jose Mourinho was the correct one and certain big players have performed much better since the Portuguese manager left Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are now 12 league games unbeaten and Hiddink is yet to have been defeated in the league since returning to the club for his second spell in charge. He has also given more chances to the younger players than Mourinho did during his time in charge. Hiddink has Costa scoring again and the striker now has eight goals and four assists in his last 10 league appearances. A top four finish looks very unlikely however they could still finish in the Europa League places.

3 – Chelsea are likely to cash in on Eden Hazard

The Belgian winger has had a very poor season. His performance last night wasn’t up to standard yet again and he hasn’t been able to hit anywhere near the heights of last season.

At times he has shown flashes of brilliance but if Chelsea receive a good offer for Hazard this summer, they are likely to cash in on him. PSG have been linked with a £60 million bid for the winger recently and Hazard was quoted in an interview recently saying it would be hard to turn PSG down. It will be interesting to see if Hazard can recapture his form, however we have seen with the likes of Fernando Torres and Radamel Falcao, players don’t always do that.
