The Best And The Worst Rated Liverpool Player In Their Loss To Newcastle United

There was no doubt that Liverpool had hoped to secure all three points against a resilient Newcastle United side away from home. However, things did not go according to what manager Jurgen Klopp had planned for the game at St. James’ Park. The Reds suffered yet another defeat, as they went down 2-0 to the Magpies on Sunday.

Klopp’s side were in good form recently and were expected to perform once again away from home, yet it did not work out for the German manager. The first half did not produce any goals as the chances that fell to both sides were not converted by the players. In the second half, the hosts managed to take the lead when Martin Skrtel scored an own goal in the 69th minute of the match. Georginio Wijnaldum added a second  for his side in stoppage time to seal all three points.
