Leicester City hosted Watford at the KP Stadium on Saturday as both sides looked to secure all three points. The hosts were looking to remain in the top four and the visitors were keen on pushing for a place in the top half of the table.

Kasper Schmeichel: 7/10

Did his part in keeping his side in the game when needed by making some superb saves and put in a much more solid performance than his opposite number.

Danny Simpson: 6/10

Had a decent game and helped his side hold on to the lead that they had.

Wes Morgan: 7/10

Looked comparatively more comfortable than his team-mates and he enjoyed a good night.

Robert Huth: 6/10

Did his job as and when needed to and had a fine game as well.

Christian Fuchs: 6/10

Did not have anything special as his side controlled the proceedings after scoring two second half goals. However, he was good when Watford tried to equalize after pulling one back.

Marc Albrighton: 6/10

Some good show of trickery and skills at times, though he was not always involved in the game.

N’Golo Kanté: 7/10

Did not take the best of shots at goal, though it was somehow enough to beat Gomes and give his side the lead. However, he ended up conceding a penalty towards the end which brought the visitors back into the game.

Danny Drinkwater: 7/10

A decent performance in midfield. His presence made a difference.

Jeff Schlupp: 5/10

Did not make any major impact on the game and was taken off on the 46th minute of the game for what seemed to be a tactical change and was replaced by Okazaki.

Riyad Mahrez: 7/10

The creative mind on the wings for the home side as he was the one who put in a splendid ball to spot Vardy’s run, which led to the spot-kick for the second goal.

Jamie Vardy: 8/10

One again did what was asked of him and he just can’t stop scoring it seems. Scored his ninth consecutive Premier League goal on the 65th minute of the game.

Came into the game on the 46th minute as Schlupp made way and did not really make too much of an impact.
