Take Manchester United Stars, Liverpool’s SAS Is Still The Best – FPL Gameweek 33 Tips

Share

We enter absolutely the business end of the Premier League with just six gameweeks to go and if there are any managers out there who is looking to close the gap with his nearest rival, it now or never. Going into gameweek 33, we can say that the top clubs play against relatively weaker sides and hence there are more chances of scoring big points by the managers.

While City play Southampton at their home, Chelsea will look to overcome Stoke City in their pursuit of the title. Liverpool play West Ham away from home which they must win to keep up the momentum. Everton welcome Arsenal and this is going to be the most interesting battle of the weekend as both the clubs look to be in the hunt for the Champions League spot.

We now take a look at the three most determining factors for the Fantasy Premier League managers from this gameweek.

Daniel Sturridge

1. Liverpool have the toughest fixture but still prefer SAS

The Merseyside club are in a tricky situation right now. On one hand they have to win all the remaining matches to win the league after a really long time, but they will have to face the toughest of the opponents in their pursuit. After playing West Ham this week, they welcome Manchester City at Anfield and it should be a goal fest with both the teams being attacking minded and having a history of neglecting their defence line. After that they have a game against Chelsea and Jose Mourinho is expected to give them a tough fight. There are many Fantasy Premier League managers who are now dependent on both Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge to give them the edge and they may face a tough time. But with Liverpool anything is possible, as they have time and again this season and it wont be a miracle to see both these strikers to do well against the top sides.

2. A rejuvenated Manchester United

A 4-1 thrashing of Aston Villa, followed by a draw against the mighty Bayern Munich surely speaks of the new life that has been sparked in the red side of Manchester. Wayne Rooney has been instrumental for his club in both the matches and in the absence of RVP, he should be able to keep up the good work upfront. RVP’s absence also means extended gametime for Kagawa and that is helping the team. But it should be remembered that they have a blank gameweek 34 and the managers should have a Plan B if they are to sail through that gameweek.

3. Edin Dzeko one of the best options

Aguero’s absence has given Dzeko the chance to showcase his talent and he has not disappointed so far. From his last two matches he has gathered 18 points and he will be looking forward to continue his good run of form. He also has two double gameweeks and that will get him an edge over other budget striking options. His price of £6.9m also seems to work in his favour as the managers would be able to invest the money in other aspects of their teams.
