The Manchester United fans do not need to be sad anymore. If the loss of Barcelona forward Pedro, that too to a big Premier league rival in the form of Chelsea was certainly a blow, the Red Devils have turned their attention to another winger Sadio Mane. The 23-year old Senegalese International is not really a big name like the Spaniard and does not have experience at the top level of European football, but could sure come in handy.
However, despite some of his flaws or imperfections, he is certainly an exciting prospect it would seem and manager Louis van Gaal would be happy to have him in his squad.
The Southampton attacker is very quick, something which the Dutch manager is looking for and he has been playing in the Premier League on a consistent basis.
Mane joined the Saints in 2014 and has since then made a total of 31 appearances, scoring 10 goals for the club.
The youngster could fit in well into the Dutchman’s plans and Trevor Sinclair who once played for Manchester City stated on Twitter, ‘Hate to say it but Mane would be an incredible signing for @ManUtd, electric pace and feet of death! Pedro snub could be a blessing?’
