> Tottenham and Everton agree Pienaar deal. Pienaar who spent last season on loan with Everton will make his move permanently back to his former club after both the clubs have agreed   a fees around £4 million.

> Manchester United are to launch a £20m bid for Robin van Persie in a bid to snatch the striker from under the noses of Manchester City. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is furious with the constant questions about van Persie and insists there has been no contact from City or United but reports claim it is only a matter of time before the bids rain in. It is also reported that Robin van Persie will join Man United if he’s promised the same mega-wages as Wayne Rooney.

> Tottenham last night agreed a £36million fee with Real Madrid for Luka Modric according to the SUN and Mourinho wants the playmaker to join his squad on US tour. The deal will bring an end to a saga which began when the 26-year-old demanded a move to Chelsea a year ago.

>Brendan Rodgers has played down talk of Andy Carroll leaving Liverpool and says he has no knowledge of any bids for the player. Even Though there is much talk about him leaving Anfield, sources close to the player reports that the Carroll is still interested in staying at Anfield. If at all he moves, Newcastle will be his next destination.  West Ham who are showing much intereset in the player over the past couple of days are preparing to make a loan move with a view of completing a £17million switch.

>Arsenal poised to land £15 million Cazorla. Though Malaga are holding out for £20m, Arsene Wenger expects to complete the club record £15 million transfer of Santi Cazorla from Malaga by Tuesday, according to the Daily Mail. With Robin van Persie poised to leave, Carzola, 27, is the major signing of the summer that Wenger has been promising.

> Brazilian striker Robinho has insisted that he is not planning to leave AC Milan for now. The striker said in an interview Corriere dello sport that “santos have done much to take me back to Brazil, but this is not the time to leave. Robinho also believes that the lose of Thiago Silva and Ibrahimovic will not de motivate the club and the team will fight for the club.

>Martin Jol says he does not want to comment on speculation linking Clint Dempsey to Liverpool but hopes to keep the striker at Fulham.The American international  is wanted by Liverpool and Arsenal but Fulham insist they have yet to receive an offer for the striker who bagged 23 goals last season.

> Barcelona vice-president Josep Maria Bartomeu has revealed that the club are hoping to sign Brazil forward Neymar after the Olympic Games.The 20-year-old has long been linked  with a move to the Camp Nou but has continually stated his commitment to his current club Santos. However, Bartomeu has admitted that Barcelona are hoping to capture Neymar’s signature after the London Games.

     ”We would all like Neymar to come after the Olympics,” the Blaugrana supremo said.

      ”He is a Santos player at the moment but I am sure Neymar will come to Europe in the future, and when that moment arrives we will be attentive so he can sign for Barcelona.’
