Tottenham Hotspur are the most consistent Premier League team right now and arguably, the toughest to beat too. And as speculations regarding a possible title challenge and a top four finish grow, Mauricio Pochetinno’s men turn their attention to the prestigious FA Cup as they will take on high-flying Leicester City on Sunday.

Spurs are currently 4th in the Premier League, just three points behind third-placed Manchester City and drew their previous game at Goodison Park in the game they could’ve won. They could’ve scored 2 or 3 more goals in the first half, but failed to do so and were disappointed with a 1-1 draw, Pochetinno clarified. And here’s how the LilyWhites may line up at White Hart Lane this weekend.

GK: Michel Vorm

The Dutchman has hardly played for Spurs since joining from Swansea and cup games have been those in which he has featured ahead of Hugo Lloris. And he could start against Claudio Ranieri’s men.

RB: Kieran Trippier

The new signing from Burnley hasn’t played too many games and last featured at Vicarage Road in a game that Spurs won 2-1. He was a stand-out performer in that game and his crossing was exceptional and he looked good going forward too. Pochetinno may resort to resting Kyle Walker for the League game against the Foxes.

CB: Toby Alderweireld

Taking risks against Leicester this season will be something you can end up regretting, ask the other big clubs. And resting the settled and highly impressive back two can prove to be troublesome for them. And the Belgian has been one of the Premier League’s best defenders this season, apart from Chris Smalling and Laurent Koscielny.

CB: Jan Vertonghen

The duo of Vertonghen and Alderweireld is a reason why Spurs have the meanest defense in the league. Both have performed different roles- Alderweireld being the combative and ball playing one, Vertonghen being the more cultured one. And not playing one of them could prove costly.

LB: Ben Davies

The Welshman has acted as a good cover for Danny Rose this season, who hasn’t touched the level that he did last season. And Davies has given convincing performances, which have proved that the former Swansea man can be just as effective as the England International. And Ben Davies will start.

CDM: Eric Dier

The Englishman has been one of the most surprising revelations this season that too at a position which isn’t his natural one. He is someone who breaks up play and supplies it forward very effectively. Without him, Spurs midfield can get overrun, considering Moussa Dembele’s absence.

CDM: Tom Carroll

The 22-year-old midfielder, who scored a stunning goal against Norwich three weeks ago has been slotted into the side by Pochetinno and the youngster has done decently well. He could well feature against Leicester, with both Dembele and Ryan Mason out.

RM: Erik Lamela

The Argentine has showed glimpses of his real class this season and has emerged as a wholly different player too. He has scored eight times in all competitions and slowly getting back to his best. Starting him makes sense.

CAM: Christian Eriksen

The Dane, with the injury suspensions of Moussa Dembele, Ryan Mason, and Alex Pritchard has to start in the attacking midfield.

LM: Hueng Min Son

The Asian International Player of the Year popped up with a winner against Watford and looked against Everton too. With a shortage of players in that position, he is sure to start, if Clinton N’Jie doesn’t.

ST: Harry Kane

The Englishman has been mercurial form this season and although, hasn’t scored in two games running but works hard off the ball to win balls back, adhering to the high pressing game very well. And he has to start, come Sunday evening.
