A more than convincing win against the Canaries on boxing day and Man United’s loss meant Spurs have a stronger foothold on the 4th spot in the league table. Monday’s fixture v Watford, who have so far proven to be the most well prepared club for the PL of the newly promoted, will be quite a test of their mettle and another solid performance will soundly put them in pole position for top 4 finish, over Manchester United, who face a resurging Chelsea.

Spurs line ups have been quite easy to predict in recent weeks but with games coming in quick succession, one would think that Poch has a few tricks up his sleeve to keep a fully fit squad to face any club in the Premier League and win convincingly.

In goal will be Hugo Lloris, a rare clean sheet for the Frenchman though Spurs have a very tight defensive record of letting in only 0.77 goals/game on average this season.

That stat is all thanks to the performances of Kyle Walker, who will continue at right back. Belgian duo of Alderweireld, Vertonghen, who have really connected like brothers and Ben Davies, the Welshman seems to have usurped Rose for the left back position.

In midfield, Eric Dier and Mousa Dembele will continue their partnership. Both the players are in top form. Fans and manager will hope they continue this wonderful form for the rest of the season.

Lamela and Eriksen, who are quietly ticking the ball and creating chances nowadays have gone quite in recent weeks but are still essential parts of the puzzle and will continue in their positions on the flanks. Delle Alli, who has been spurs’s best midfielder this season will play right behind the striker who will be none other than Harry Kane.

The Englishman scored a wonderful brace and will look to continue the goal scoring form into the new year. He is just 1 short of 50 goals for Spurs. Signs point towards him getting there before 2016. Will be a hard fought game, though Spurs are clearly a better side on table and paper, but one can never say for sure in the Premier League, I predict a 2:0 win.
