Strongest Liverpool XI vs. Leicester: Origi To Spearhead The Attack

Predicted Liverpool Lineup vs Leicester

Liverpool’s world came crashing down when the club were thrashed and outplayed by Watford at Vicarage Road. The Hornets were the better team in every department and Liverpool would have learned a lot from the outing.

Liverpool

The Boxing day game for the Reds sees them host the Premier League leaders Leicester, who continued their stay at the top of the league and will be looking to end the year on a high after beating the Reds.

Liverpool will be without the services of Martin Skrtel, who injured his hamstring in the last game and with the club facing a lot of injury problems, here is the predicted lineup for the Reds.

Adam Bogdan

A howler from Bogdan cost Liverpool big time in the last game but with Simon Mignolet a doubt, the Hungarian will start the game for the Reds,

Nathaniel Clyne

Clyne didn’t really do anything out of the ordinary against Watford but will hope for a better outing this time around.

Kolo Toure

The Ivorian could well be the man who plays in the heart of defence as Lovren and Skrtel are injured at the moment for the Reds.

Mamadou Sakho

Mamadou Sakho had a horrible game against Watford and certainly has to do better if he is to keep his place when Skrtel and Lovren return from injury.

Alberto Moreno

The Spaniard was his bustling self-last time around and should continue down the left of Liverpool against Leicester.

Emre Can

The German should be the first man to be selected in the midfield; he has been one of the few bright spots for Liverpool this season under Klopp.

Lucas Leiva

The defensive midfielder was shifted to the centre back in the game against Watford but should return to his more comfortable role in midfield this time around.

Jordan Henderson

The English midfielder was one of the few players who tried his best in the loss against Watford but needs to do better if Liverpool is to do better at Anfield.

Philippe Coutinho

The Brazilian had a really poor game against Watford and was almost a miss from the side; he needs to pick up his form if Liverpool are to win the game against the high-flying foxes.

Adam Lallana

Lallana has been one of the players who has been revitalised under Klopp and he should continue playing in the first team against Leicester.

Divock Origi

It was a surprise to see Origi being brought on before Benteke and the young Belgian could well spearhead the attack for the Reds as they look for a bright start from their attack.
