Shocking! Arsenal Legend Urges Player To Walk Away From The Club

Share

Arsenal legend Ian Wright has asked Calum Chambers to leave the club and move on.

The 21-year-old ace joined the Gunners two years ago but has made only 36 appearances so far. He was below Mertesacker, Koscielny, and Gabriel in the pecking order till last season end but now have fallen further. With Mertesacker and Gabriel injured he had a chance in the opening game against Liverpool but lost 3-4. Subsequently, Chambers was dropped from the team when Arsenal visited King Power stadium last weekend and Rob Holdings was given a chance.

Due to this incident, Ian Wright feels that Chambers must walk away from the club and try to build his career elsewhere. He has criticized Arsene Wenger in the process saying that the talk of developing players at the club is not true anymore. Arsenal are currently in search of a defender and a legend asking a defender to leave the club is definitely a warning sign.

“Calum Chambers has been here three years and then Rob Holding comes in from Bolton who haven’t been doing that well and he’s at the heart of their defence, For him to come in and get picked ahead of him, Calum must look to move on,” Wright said to BT Sport.
