Richarlison On The Left, Gray Up Front – Strongest 4-3-3 Watford Line-up To Face West Ham On Sunday

Predicted Watford Line-up To Face West Ham United In The Premier League

Watford will look to get back to winning ways when they take on David Moyes’ West Ham United at the Vicarage Road this Sunday.

After an extremely positive start to the season under new manager Marco Silva, the Hornets have hit a bit of a roadblock, having lost all three of their previous 3 league fixtures, with the latest being a 2-3 defeat at the hands of Everton before the international break. They are currently placed 9th in the league standings and will be hoping to bounce back with a win over the relegation-battling Hammers on Sunday.

Team News

Goalkeeper Heurelho Gomes is a slight doubt for the game due to a head injury, along with defenders Younes Kaboul, Sebastian Prodl and midfielder Roberto Pereyra, all of whom are recovering from hamstring injuries. Isaac Success is ruled out until next month, while Nathaniel Chalobah, Craig Cathcart and Tommy Hoban are long-term absentees.

Here’s how the Hornets could take the field against West Ham on Sunday;

Manager: Marco Silva

Formation: 4-3-3

Orestis Karnezis (GK)

The on-loan Greek goalie is all set to make his first Premier League start of the season, deputising for the injured Heurelho Gomes.

Kiko Femenia (RB)

The Spaniard has established himself as the first-choice right-back at the Vicarage Road ahead of Daryl Janmaat. Should stay the same way for Sunday’s game.

Kiko Femenia

Christian Kabasele (CB)

The Belgian international has been solid this term for the Hornets and should feature from kick-off against West Ham.

Miguel Britos (CB)

With the number of injury issues that Watford have at the back, Silva doesn’t have much of a choice but to play with Miguel Britos alongside Kabasele.

Jose Holebas (LB)

At left-back, it should be veteran Greek defender Jose Holebas. The 33-year old has registered 3 assists so far this term and will want to add more going forward.

Will Hughes (CM)

The former Derby County man made his first Premier League start in the previous game against Everton and is likely to keep hold of his place in the line-up.

Tom Cleverley

Abdoulaye Doucoure (CM)

The Frenchman has been one of the stand-out players for the Hornets this season. A definite starter for the clash against the Hammers.

Tom Cleverley (CM)

The midfielder missed a late penalty against his former side Everton a couple of weeks back which cost his side the game. Will want to bounce back with a strong showing.

Andre Carrillo (RW)

The 26-year old Peruvian winger hasn’t scored or assisted a single goal in his 9 Premier League appearances so far. Will be keen on addressing that.

Richarlison

Andre Gray (ST)

The club record signing has managed just a single goal so far for his new club. He will be itching to get some goals under his belt.

Richarlison (LW)

The Brazilian has been the MVP for the Hornets this season, with his skills and goals. Scored his 4th Premier League goal of the season against Everton in the previous encounter and will be Watford’s biggest weapon in the attack.
