Respected Spanish Journalist Claims Asenal Boss Wenger To Finish A Massive Deal

Share

Reports suggest that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is now ready to repeat his Mesut Ozil swoop this summer, as per claims made by Spanish journalist Kike Marin. The Spaniard works for El Confidential, who most times are considered the most reliable media outlet in Spain. Kike himself is a fan of the north London side and is respected by many of the club’s supporters, as he revealed the potential transfers for the summer window.

He had previously stated that Karim Benzema could possibly be a target for Wenger depending on the Frenchman’s situation at current club Real Madrid. The 27 year old striker has enjoyed his life at the Bernabeu, but found himself on the bench at times in the last few months under manager Carlo Ancelotti.

Due to this the Gunners’ boss is keeping tabs on his target and is all set to make a swoop and seal the deal if the chance arises.

Though Arsenal do have plenty of attacking options, an additional striker would surely help their cause as they look to challenge for more titles in the upcoming season.
