According to Metro , Liverpool are very much interested in getting the signature of Argentine midfielder Javier Pastore from Paris Saint-Germain in the January transfer window.
Javier Pastore’s agent added more fuel to the rumours as he openly admitted that his client could leave PSG to take up a new adventure in his career elsewhere.
Pastore joined the French champions for a hefty fee in 2011, but failed to perform in a consistent basis for them and currently, his struggling form suggests that he would welcome a move away from PSG.
Liverpool are looking to use this opportunity to lure the playmaker to Anfield.
Pastore’s agent Marcelo Simonian said,
“In football there are always ups and downs,”
“He has been happy there, but now is not the time for nostalgia. We will see what happens in the next few months.”
It is believed that Liverpool need to spend at least £17 – £20 million to convince PSG to sell their midfield star.
