REPORT: Bayern Want Khedira But Arsenal Still Have The Edge

Share

Arsenal may lose one of their main targets this Summer – Real Madrid star Sami Khedira. The German international was heavily linked with Gunners in this transfer window, but any possible agreement was stalled due to the huge wage demands from the player’s camp.

Latest reports from Spain suggest that German champions Bayern Munich are ready match Khedira’s  wage demands. But the catch here is Bayern dont want the player now, they just want to agree terms with the player now so that they can get him for free next Summer.

Since Real Madrid have spent huge sum of cash on bringing James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos to Bernabeu, they would want to make some profit from Khedira’s sale to balance the book instead of losing him for nothing next season. So, Arsenal still have the edge in this transfer saga, if they can match Khedira’s wage demands, then his most likely destination is the Emirates stadium.
