Cooper, who earlier worked with Jack, said that everybody at Aberdeen was confident of Jack becoming a huge success in the future.

He said, (h/t The Daily Record UK)

“Everyone involved with the set-up at Aberdeen knew Ryan would go on to be a top-class player,”

“He has done fantastically well and Rangers have a really good player there.”

The 27-year-old has been in sensational form this season, scoring 4 goals and providing three assists across all competitions.

In addition, he also won the Rangers goal of the season honour for his wonderful strike against Celtic in the Old Firm derby at Ibrox.

Upon receiving his award, Jack said that the derby goal would be a highlight for the rest of his career.

Having been a regular for Steven Gerrard’s first campaign at Ibrox, Jack has only earned two caps for Scotland.

Cooper added, (h/t The Daily Record UK)

“In terms of the Scotland scene, it’s up to Steven Gerrard to make that comment. That’s not really my call. The Scotland management goes out and picks the players they want for their squads and that’s their decision.”

The defensive midfielder joined Ibrox in 2017 after spending around 7 years with the Dons, eventually making more than 200 appearances.

Cooper further praised the Scotsman’s possession skills, which he cites as a unique trait.

Jack also scored in the recent win against Hearts, which was the Light Blues’ third win on the trot.
