Premier League’s Most Under-rated XI: Featuring Arsenal’s Monreal And 2 West Ham Stars

At the end of every match, we always end up searching for those players that did brilliantly for their team. Unsurprisingly, it is always the big names that get the most fame and adulation even if they don’t play their best.

The Premier League does have a lot of players who put in great shifts for their team week in and week out. We provide an underrated Premier League XI that has done great this season but isn’t talked about as much as it should be.

Fraser Forster

The Southampton goalkeeper has been brilliant for the side this season. Forster is the goalkeeper in form this season and even after coming back from injury, he has been the best goalkeeper in the league, even better than Hart and Butland,

Nathaniel Clyne

Clyne might not be turning out great performances week in and week out but he is consistent and that is really tough to manage in the Premier League. The English right-back has been one of the better players for Liverpool this season and continues doing so in every game he does play.

Virgil van Dijk

Time and time again we have spoken about the fact that Virgil moved from the Scottish league to the Premier League which is not an easy thing to do but he has been one of the best players for Southampton this season and deserves to be in this team.

Winston Reid

The New Zealander has been a surprise player for West Ham but has done exceptionally well in the heart of the defence for the Hammers.

Nacho Monreal

Monreal might not be the fastest player in the league but he more than makes it up with his tenacity and certainly is one of the unsung heroes in the team.

Etienne Capoue

What a turnaround it has been for Capoue, the Frenchman was deemed surplus to requirements at Spurs but has been incredible for Watford this season and has resurrected his career for the Hornets.

Steven Davis

The midfielder is another player who hasn’t been given the credit he deserves but he again has been instrumental for Ronald Koeman’s side this season.

Danny Drinkwater

The Leicester midfielder might not be the one scoring those important goals or making those great assists but he is an integral cog in the system and has been more than responsible for the madness that is Leicester City.

Manuel Lanzini

Another team that seems to be talking about Dimitri Payet, we need to remember about the player that is Manuel Lanzini and all the good work the 23-year-old Argentine has done for the club.

Marko Arnautovic

The Austrian bad boy has certainly cleaned up his image in the Premier League and has been great for Stoke City this season, even better than Xherdan Shaqiri. Arnautovic is a difficult football to deal with on the pitch and off it, he has gotten less difficult also.

Troy Deeney

Deeney certainly has had a great season for Watford this term and is one reason why they might avoid the drop. Most of the talk hovers around Odion Ighalo butt is the pairing that does a lot of damage, not just Odion.
