“A medial ligament tear takes time, but everything is healing well. I know my body, everything will be ok. In about five days, I’ll begin to start running again and five days after that I should be training with a ball again. I should be completely back on board in March.”- Schweinsteiger

Schweinsteiger is looking out to play for Germany in Euro 2016 and is confident that he will be back playing by then. The German player has struggled with pace and intensity in the English top-flight since joining United from Bayern Munich.

While there are many players available at United for the midfield, Schweinsteiger’s first season in United may still be memorable with Van Gaal considering his experience and giving him a chance in the first team after his return from injury.
