Predicted Liverpool Line Up To Face Tottenham – Sturridge To Lead A Strong Team

One of the most interesting games coming this weekend is Liverpool vs Tottenham where Klopp’s men will fight for the spot in the Europa League and the London’s side will battle to minimize the point’s gap between them and the leaders Leicester City. Well, both have different intentions and both will be coming on to the pitch to get all three points. Liverpool will have to exert more pressure on Tottenham’s midfield which is comprised of very young, yet so lethal talents.

Looking at their recent forms, Liverpool have won just 3 out of their 6 recent games whereas Tottenham have won 4. This will be a tough battle but will be an interesting one.

Goalkeeper: Simon Mignolet-

Well, Liverpool don’t have many options to choose in this area so surely, Mignolet will be starting the game. He has been criticized by club legend Jamie Carragher for being too easy to concede the goals, he has been a regular starter under Klopp and surely he is improving.

Defenders: Clyne, Sakho, Lovren, Flanagan-

Due to the injury to Alberto Moreno, Klopp doesn’t have many options for the left back position and due to Jon Flanagan’s versatility, he can be deployed in the left full back position. Mamadou Sakho and Lovren, on the other hand, have been performing really well under Klopp and are one of the most important players in the team. Nathaniel Clyne likes to harass the opposition winger and loves to make tackles very often.

Midfielders:  Coutinho, Milner, Lallana, Can-

One of the best youngster in the world, Coutinho is the most reliable source for Klopp in his team. With Milner’s agility and Lallana’s pace, this midfield can cause some real problems to the injured Tottenham’s defence. Emre Can has made a considerable progress under Klopp and can be a lethal weapon alongside Milner in their game.

Jurgen Klopp could left his star striker Christian Benteke for Divock Origi who also starred in a humiliating defeat at the hands of Ronald Koeman’s Southampton. Origi  is expected to return to the training on 2^nd April can make to the first team in the game against Tottenham where on the other hand, after sitting on the bench as an unused substitute many times this season, the England’s international may lead the attacking line for the Reds.
