Predicted Chelsea Lineup Vs Everton: Costa Fit To Play, Luis & Willian To Be Involved

Share

With trips to Goodison Park always tough on the visiting team, there can be no doubt that this is a real test for Chelsea’s title credentials just three matches into the new season. With only 1 out of the top 6 teams getting maximum points at Goodison Park, Jose Mourinho will have his work cut out for him tomorrow. With the news emerging that Chelsea’s main man Diego Costa is indeed fit to face Everton tomorrow, let us take a look at the Predicted Chelsea lineup Vs Everton tomorrow.

If you do not agree with the lineup we have given here please do let us know by commenting.

Goal Keeper:

Thibaut Courtois: The big Belgian will start at goal ahead of Petr Cech once again and this match promises to be Thibaut Courtois’ toughest test in his brief Chelsea career so far.

Defenders:

Branislav Ivanovic: The Serbian will start on the right hand side of the defence as Jose Mourinho will hope that Ivanovic will keep the stability in the back four going.

John Terry: The Chelsea captain will definitely have to be at his best to keep out the likes of former Chelsea player Romelu Lukaku from scoring. He will be the leader that the entire backline will be looking up to.

Gary Cahill: The England international will be another player who will have to be on the top of his game if Chelsea are to have any hope of keeping a clean-sheet at the Goodison Park.

Filipe Luis: The ex Atletico Madrid player have not been able to make his debut for Chelsea so far following his big money move from the La Liga but we at Soccersouls feel that this will be the match when Jose Mourinho will finally play Filipe Luis to give him his much awaited debut.

Midfield & Attackers:

Nemanja Matic: Nemanja Matic, arguably has the toughest job of the entire match as he will have to do the job of the enforcer and it will be up to him to bail his team out when it is the other team with the ball.

Cesc Fabregas: The ex Arsenal man has adopted to life in the Premier League like fish to sea and Jose Mourinho will be hoping that he will pass his toughest test in the Premier League so far with flying colours.

Andre Schurrle: The ‘super sub’ German from the World Cup will be looking to get his Chelsea career flying with another superlative performance which will keep Willian out of the starting line up.

Oscar: Oscar might not be at his best in the last match against the newly promoted Leicester City but he will be hoping to perform much better in the tip of the midfield for Chelsea.

Eden Hazard: The most creative player for Chelsea by a mile and will be hoping to make his mark on the match from the left hand side of the field.

Diego Costa: While initially it was thought that a training ground injury would keep him out, he has infact been passed fit to play and Jose Mourinho will be hoping he does the trick for the Blues.
