(Pictures) Koscielny Kicked In The Head And Gibbs’ Post Match Snap

Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny’s head was on the receiving end of Fenerbache’s Pierre Webo’s boot last night as the Gunners won 3-0 over the Turkish side in the Champions League play off round. The Arsenal Defender suffered a nasty gash, Arsenal Physio Colin Lewin described it as “Horrible – the worst I’ve seen.” It’s been a bad week for Koscielny who was sent off against Aston Villa last Saturday.

However, today morning fellow French International Olivier Giroud posted a picture of himself and Koscielny in which the defender seems to be normal and managed a smile.

The centre back will serve his one match ban this weekend after his suspension from the Villa game.

Kieran Gibbs spoke in the mixed zone after Fenerbache game. The left back broke the deadlock with his 1st European goal and only his 4th for Arsenal. If you look closely you can see the stitches he played with after getting a cut on his eyebrow on Saturday.
