Manchester United are looking towards a busy summer transfer window this time around. To put a dismal season behind United manager Louis Van Gaal is looking out to sign many players so as to bolster the Red Devils for the next season.
Van Gaal is reportedly preparing a bid for Atletico Madrid player Saul Niguez. The player has a £35m release clause included in his contract and United will need to activate the player’s release clause if they are seriously interested in the player.
However, United are not the only ones looking out for the player. The Red Devils will be facing strong competition from Barcelona who too are interested in signing the player.
Thus, it has to be seen who will be able to strike a deal and bring the player into their squad for the next season. The player’s release clause is sure to be the deciding factor in the deal, depending on who will be able to meet the £35m release clause.
