After a 0-0 draw at Molineux last week, Wolves will be traveling to Old Trafford on Wednesday to take on Manchester United in the FA Cup third-round replay.
Under the guidance of Nuno Espirito Santos, Wolves have excelled at the highest level. They have done extremely well this season in various competitions, including the Europa League, where they have qualified for the intermediate stage.
They would be coming into this game on the back of a disappointing draw against Newcastle United and must aim to progress forward in the FA Cup.
On the other hand, Ole Solskjaer’s men are heading into this fixture after an emphatic victory over Norwich City and they will be high on confidence.
However, the Black Country club are known for upsetting the top six and nothing but a win over their opponents will give them the much-needed courage to challenge in all competitions.
Nuno will be more than satisfied to see almost every member available for this fixture. Diogo Jota will be assessed ahead of the game and remains to be a doubt. Whereas, Will Boly is yet to recover from an ankle injury.
The Portuguese shot-stopper has been the first-choice since his arrival. He would certainly start and would hope to guide them through to the next round.
The Spaniard hasn’t been up to his best but is expected to help the teams in the attack from the left. He would retain his spot.
The 29-year-old is a key figure for the Wolves and is making an impact in whichever position he plays. He is expected to start ahead of Max Kilman.
The Belgian has formed a strong partnership with his captain in the heart of the defence. With a goal in the last outing, his confidence will be boosted and at the same time, he will be hoping to help the team with a clean sheet.
An undoubted starter, Coady has led the team in an exceptional way this season. His commanding performances will be much-needed if they are to advance further in the tournament.
The Irishman has been a regular this season and is expected to start in this high-intensity fixture.
His long-range shots are considered to be dangerous for any opponent and he would be the key to stop United from dominating the midfield. He will start for sure.
One of the most influential members of the team, the former Monaco man has been a strong force in making the team move forward. He will be expected to link up well with the attackers and create enough goalscoring chances.
The youngster did well in the last meeting between the two teams. He will start in the absence of injured Joto.
He’s been a revelation for the team on the right side of the pitch. A dangerous forward, Traore will need to be at his best to beat Solskjaer’s men.
The Mexican has been in sublime form this season and has 8 goals and 6 assists to his name in the league. He would be looking to score and help Wolves cross the line. He will be an undoubted starter.
