2. Anthony Martial (if fit) versus Per Mertesacker
With Arsenal dominating the majority of play at the Emirates, Martial actually didn’t get much of a chance to showcase his talent that day. But with Wayne Rooney injured, Martial will shoulder most of the responsibility when it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net. Mertesacker on the other hand, has been criticized time and time again for his lack of pace and against United, he will particularly be wary of Martial’s speed and trickery. The Frenchman started his United career with a bang but it’s fair to say that he is still to justify the hefty price tag he came along with. Up against one of United fiercest rival, this will be a perfect stage for him to prove his critics wrong.
