Manchester United Boss Louis van Gaal Sets his Eyes on Young Defender

According to reports now, Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has sent out the club’s scouts to monitor the progress of Heerenveen center-back Jeremiah St Juste. The 18-year-old defensive superstar is one of the brightest prospects in Holland at the moment and is already an integral part of the first team setup for the Eredivisie side.

The Dutchman is at present in need of more defensive options to add to his squad as cover, after losing England international Luke Shaw who broke his leg in the Champions League opening fixture and will miss most of the current season.

Further, the Daily Star has added that Van Gaal has clearly told his scouts to keep a close eye on St Juste, with a view of signing the defender in the near future. The youngster has made a name for himself in the recent months and it would be interesting to see what impact he can have on the United side, if a deal goes through indeed.
