Arsenal have won the north London derby at White Hart Lane 2-1. No doubt the win, fair and square(important to mention after the game at Stamford Bridge). A brace from Mathieu Flamini earned the Gunners a win over Tottenham in the League Cup, who went crashing out. Arsene Wenger’s side took the lead in the 26th minute when the Frenchman tapped in a parried shot by Alex Oxlade Chamberlain. Spurs got one back from a Callum Chambers own goal to equalize, while Flamini added a second from a superbly taken volley.
Some of the fans reacted on Twitter with messages like:

Further, club legend Thierry Henry had this to say about the win on Sky Sports, “It is massive. Huge. Let’s fast forward a bit. You don’t want to go to Leicester having lost that game. They won the derby, and you saw how they played. They fought well, they had character, it wasn’t just flamboyant Arsenal. And they won at the Lane. They’re going to be buzzing, there will be happiness around the dressing room and the training ground, and that’s always better for them to prepare for the next game.“
