Luis Suarez, Radamel Falcao, Karim Benzema – Latest Transfer Stories

As January transfer window lures closer, there is an incredible amount of rumor threads all around the Internet, linking players with all sorts of moves across top flight clubs. Such a rumor has started to swirl around these players recently – Luis Suarez, Radamel Falcao, Karim Benzema.

Falcao – Suarez

We all know Radamel Falcao is the transfer target of many clubs and in particularly Chelsea, who are trying to replace their 50 million mistake Fernando Torres. However, if the La Liga club Atletico Madrid end up selling their in-demand striker, who is going to replace the Colombian will be the next big question? And to answer to that question, reports from Spanish sports daily AS claim that Atletico’s sporting director Jose Luis Caminero has highlighted Suarez as their main target. 

Suarez, who arrived from Ajax back in 2011 has had his mixed run of form and controversies during his time at Liverpool and it is believed that Atletico Madrid will try and unsettle the player by huge sums of money acquired by the transfer of Falcao. But Liverpool manager, Rodgers was adamant that his leading goal scorer this season is going no where.

“There will be no bidding war,” said Rodgers. He’s staying here, If we lost Luis then we’ve got no strikers. I don’t think we can afford to lose anyone. He’s certainly not someone we want to sell or move on. He’s been a brilliant player to work with and we want to add to our squad, not take people out of it, especially a world-class player.”

Benzema –  Hernandez

In another transfer story and what could be a biggest story of this window, Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema is linked with a shocking swap deal for Manchester United’s
in – form Javier Hernandez. Jose Mourinho and Real Madrid have had a troubled start to the league campaign through injuries and misfortunes but Mourinho is rumoured to take out his check books for United’s 24 year old Hernandez in order restore parity in front of goal. Hernandez was a rumored target for Mourinho back in October. In that speculated deal, Los Blancos would have sent defenders Raul Abiol, Raphael Varane, or Sergio Ramos to Old Trafford in exchange for Hernandez.

Now the Portuguese manager is even ready to send French International Karim Benzema in a spectacular swap deal to smoothen the move for Hernandez. And the fact that Sir Alex Ferguson – a long term admirer of the French man will add up to the potential transfer move. Despite having scored more than 30 goals last season, Benzema has found it difficult for first team opportunities this season, starting only 7 out of the 17 games Madrid have played. However, If Benzema can’t compete with huguain at madrid then the striker will have a hard time at United with competition from Rooney and Van Persie.
