Liverpool Transfers: 3 Bundesliga Players Who Could Join Liverpool Next Season

Share

Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp are on the verge to do something big. The arrival of the German manager has optimized the entire squad, and the fans are surely loving it. Klopp has brought the hope and the fans can proudly say that their team is now capable of fighting for the top honour from the next season.

Klopp arrived in October 2015, and guided the team in 2 cup finals. Not every manager is capable of doing that. The side won against their arch rivals Manchester United  in the Europa League, they defeated his former side Borussia Dortmund in a very dramatic fashion and got past through Villarreal with ease to reach to the finals. Yes, they didn’t win the title, but the team made their point very clear.

The Euros are coming and just after that, the most awaited transfer window will open, and every single premier league club will bring some spectacular names to the side and so will Liverpool. Jurgen Klopp has a very heavy burden on his shoulders as he has a tough task to rebuild the squad in order to challenge for the title. Klopp can easily focus on the premier league next term as they will not be playing the European games, and that can be a blessing in disguise.

Many German names have been linked with a move to Anfield in the past couple of months. The most anticipated name was of the World Cup winner Mario Gotze, but the German decided to stay at the Allianz Arena. Here, we give you the names of 3 Bundesliga players who could join Liverpool in the coming transfer window.

    1. Jonas Hector-

The area where Jurgen Klopp needs to concentrate is the Left Back zone. Their ever present Spanish full back Alberto Moreno has disappointed the fans in the entire season. The 23-year-old defender joined Liverpool in 2014, but failed to put a game changing impact in the side. Moreno is considered as one of the most lethal attacking full back who possesses a blistering pace, but when it comes to defending the post, he stumbles. He is often criticized for being too easy to get past through, and therefore, Jurgen Klopp will have to find a perfect replacement.

It is heavily reported that Liverpool are plotting a bid for the 25-year-old Koln defender Jonas Hector. The German defender is not a very big name in the industry, but he is capable of delivering a lethal performance. He supports his team well in the attack, and his defending capabilities are something to be proud of. Hector in his last season, won 58% of his duels and created 57 chances for the side. Well, I just gave you the reason why Liverpool must sign the player.

    1. Kevin Volland-

The other area where Liverpool does need reinforcement is the striking position. Their attacking midfielders, namely Adam Lallana, Roberto Firmino and Philippe Coutinho are capable of taking the team to a height, but their striking position is something to worry about. Benteke and Sturridge didn’t deliver what was expected, and Liverpool cannot rely on Divock Origi for the entire season.

If the rumors are to be believed, then Liverpool are trying to sign the Hoffenheim striker Kevin Volland. The German striker was not the best performer in the league last season, but he is capable of destroying the opposition with his brilliant trickery and an absolute vision. He is not the most lethal finisher, but alongside  Coutinho and Firmino, he can deliver what Sturridge and Benteke failed.

    1. Niklas Sule-

Again, not a well-established player in the industry. Well, Liverpool’s center half pair of Sakho and Lovren came out of nowhere after Klopp’ arrival. The duo helped the team to reach the quarter final of the Europa League, but unfortunately, Sakho had to face a ban as he was tested positive in a drug test. It is reported that his ban can extend for one year and if that happens, Liverpool will be in major crisis. It is believed that Toure and Skrtel are on the verge of leaving the club, and therefore, the team needs a center half to cover the games.

The 6ft. 5″ defender has shown what he is capable of in the German League. At just 20 years of age, Niklas carries an aggression that can win you the ball easily. He is also a very good passer of the ball and averaged 86% of passing accuracy last season. He won 35 tackles with a success rate of 56%. He has made 63 interceptions, 205 clearances and 29 blocks. It is rumored that Liverpool wants to sign this towering defender, and Sule can come in handy as well. With no major names to show for next season in the defence, Liverpool must go for this German Defender in the coming transfer window.
