Liverpool acquired the services of Danny Ings from Burnley this summer and in a similar way now, La Liga outfit Real Betis are now hoping that if Dani Ceballos should leave them, he should join another club in Spain. The youngster has a contract with the club that expires at the end of the current campaign. However, there are different compensation and transfer rules if he were to stay in his own country that move away, which would work well for the Spanish side.
Despite that, there has been a lot of interest from various clubs across Europe and last month it was also revealed from news coming from Seville that the Reds were already in talks over a potential move. However, some British newspapers had added that the claims from Spain had confirmed that a deal was being agreed though it was not the actual case and talks had just initiated.
According to Marca’s Friday edition, there was a growing anger at Betis as Ceballos had refused to sign a new deal that had been offered to him for months now. The club wanted to make him one of their best-paid players, which would have surely boosted his market value, in case he intended to leave. What happens next remains to be seen.
