The Lions went head-to-head with the Whites at Elland Road on Sunday.
The contest soon turned into a wild one after Mateus Klich of Leeds scored a controversial goal when a Villa player was down on the ground.
The referee had no hesitation in allowing the goal, much to Villa’s surprise.
And the incident sparked a serious bust-up between both the sides on the field and beyond the touch-line with the staffs.
Soon, Marcelo Bielsa ordered his players to let the Lions score the equalizer, which marked a gesture of true sportsmanship.
During the uproar, Villa player Anwar El Ghazi saw a red card after his alleged tackle on Bamford.
Later, the television replays revealed that there was no contact made on Bamford and the Villa officials appealed against the decision.
Now, the FA is set to investigate the incident and a two-match ban for the English striker is on the cards if he is to be found guilty.
And this would mean that he’ll miss out on a crucial playoffs next month.
The Whites slipped up their automatic promotion chances, owing to a string of bad results.
Now, they are gearing up for the playoffs and their possible opponents could be Middlesbrough, Bristol City and Derby County.
