Lanzini On The Left, Hernandez Up Front – Strongest 4-3-3 West Ham Line-up To Face Liverpool

Predicted West Ham United Line-up To Face Liverpool In The Premier League

West Ham United may have managed to stay out of the relegation zone but with 2 points from the last 3 league games, the Hammers are in search of some confidence, that could push them into the top half of the table. They face a tricky test this weekend when they welcome Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool, who have traditionally struggled against Bilic’s side.

Liverpool are fresh from a 3-0 victory over Maribor in the Champions League but are not in a great run of form and will give West Ham some hope of taking something from this game.

Team News

Zabaleta is suspended, while both Jose Fonte and Aaron Cresswell were injured at Selhurst Park, making them unavailable for this game. However, Fonte has a better chance of featuring. James Collins, who has announced his retirement from international football with Wales, is not yet ready to return from an ankle issue. Winston Reid could be available after shaking off a calf strain, while Michail Antonio is ruled out after suffering a recurrence of a rib injury.

Formation: 3-4-3

Manager: Slaven Bilic

GK – Joe Hart

Though not the best in the business right now, Hart is a hard-worker and has established himself as the first choice for Bilic this season.

CB – Chiekhou Kouyate

The Senegalese has just come back from an injury but absence of other options should see him start as a part of the backline.

Cheikou Kouyate

CB – Winston Reid

The skipper picked up a niggle recently but is expected to be fit for this game and should start at the heart of the defence for the Hammers.

CB – Angelo Ogbonna

The Italian has been decent this season but he needs to step up against the likes of Mohamed Salah this weekend.

RWB – Sam Byram

With Zabaleta suspended, expect the talented Sam Byram to start this game against Liverpool.

CM – Declan Rice

The youngster has been impressive this season in almost every outing and deserves to start in this crunch game.

Mark Noble

CM – Mark Noble

The experience of Noble will be important for West Ham, who will need to control the midfield to get something from this game.

LWB –Arthur Masuaku

Masuaku has established himself at left-back this season for Bilic and he will hope to keep up the good work, in a more advanced role.

RW – Andre Ayew

Having scored 3 goals in the last two outings for his side, Ayew is in fine form and will be the danger man for West Ham in this game.

LW – Manuel Lanzini

The Argentine will be tasked with breaking Liverpool’s fragile defence and keep the pressure on them, to help his side to a point or even a victory.

ST – Javier Hernandez

Though Carroll can be effective, Bilic should stick with Hernandez to lead the line, as his poacher’s instinct could help dismantle the visitors this weekend.

Here is how West Ham might line up:
