The Reds will be gearing up ahead of their clash against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend and Jurgen Klopp will be hoping to pick up a win in his first top-six clash of the season. Spurs are on the back of a loss against Watford and will be aiming to make amends.
Adam Lallana pulled out of the England squad due to an injury and will not be fit for the game. Apart from long-term absentees Dejan Lovren and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Liverpool have a fully-fit squad to pick from. Klopp will be glad all his players returned unscathed from the international break. The German might tweak his squad a little or take off players early in this game given that Liverpool face Paris Saint-Germain four days after this game.
Alisson was handed a reality check by James Maddison in the last game and Brazilian will be aiming to make amends with a strong performance.
Arnold will return at right-back for Liverpool, still looking for that first goal of the season.
Van Dijk was impressive against France in mid-week and will continue to lead from the back.
The youngster should be partnered alongside Van Dijk as the duo seems to be doing well.
Robertson will be buoyed after being handed the Scotland captaincy role. He is set to have a massive season with the Reds.
Wijnaldum has flourished after being shifted to a No.6 role this season. His relentless running and ability on the ball has proven fruitful for the Reds in the middle of the park.
Liverpool’s red wine is certainly getting better with age. Milner should be started a against the Lilywhites.
Keita has been very influential for the Reds from day one. The midfielder’s work rate and passing ability are exceptional.
Salah will be hoping to pick up a goal after scuppering a few chances against the Foxes last week. The Egyptian will start this game.
The Brazilian will be confident after scoring for Brazil in mid-week as well. He should now maintain some consistency in his game.
