Predicted Fulham Line-up To Face Sunderland In The EFL Championship

Fulham have now won 14 of their last 18 games and are a side in formidable form. In fact, the last time that they lost in the league was on the 16th of December and it was then that they were defeated by Sunderland.

Since then, Fulham have absolutely dominated, whereas Sunderland have been at the opposite end of the spectrum and their second relegation in two years was confirmed with a defeat to Burton. This should be a walkover for Fulham.

Probable Fulham XI

Manager: Slavisa Jokanovic

Formation: 4-3-3

Marcus Bettinelli (GK)

Bettinelli had a very good game against Millwall and kept his side in the tie when it was at 0-0, with some very good saves. A solid pair of hands between the sticks.

Ryan Fredericks (RB)

Was allowed a lot of freedom to get forward against Millwall and did so to excellent effect. He gave Fulham the width and always looked dangerous when getting forward.

Denis Odoi (CB)

Odoi has been brilliant for Fulham this season and has looked like a rock in that centre-back position. Has formed a very good partnership with Ream and will be looking to finish the season with more clean sheets.

Tim Ream

Tim Ream (CB)

Ream has captained Fulham excellently this season and the 30-year-old has been pretty much an ever-present for his team. He looks ready to make the step up to the Premier League.

Matt Targett (LB)

The young left-back has really given Fulham an extra attacking dimension down the left flank and got himself an assist against Millwall. Will be interesting to see what happens with him in the summer.

Stefan Johansen (CM)

Johansen had a good game against Millwall and helped the Fulham midfield to dominate.

Kevin McDonald

Kevin McDonald (CM)

Got himself a goal against Millwall and looked a class above, throughout the game. Will be very interesting to see how the Fulham midfield trio cope if they move up to the Premier League.

Tom Cairney (CM)

Cairney was at his attacking best against Millwall. He completed 7 dribbles and always looked a threat going forward. He also broke up the play well.

Ryan Sessegnon (AML)

If Fulham do go up to the Premier League and manage to keep hold of Ryan Sessegnon, then they could be in for a very exciting season. He’s the sort of player that can really change a game on his own.

Aleksandar Mitrovic

Lucas Piazon (AMR)

Piazon looked below par against Millwall but still has 4 goals and 4 assists in 12 appearances for Fulham.

Aleksander Mitrovic (ST)

The 23-year-old has been an absolute revelation since signing for Fulham on-loan in January. He has 11 goals and 1 assist in 15 appearances. Has some big decisions to make about his future when he returns to Newcastle at the end of the season.
