Probable Liverpool XI

Manager: Jurgen Klopp

Formation: 4-3-3

Alisson Becker (GK)

Alisson has been supreme in goal for the Reds this season and he will surely keep his place.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB)

Arnold picked up an assist in the last game against Fulham and underlined his potential. He will continue to maraud down the right-back.

Trent Alexander-Arnold

Joe Gomez (CB)

Gomez has been excellent at the back for the Reds this season. He should start at the back alongside the phenomenal Virgil van Dijk.

Virgil Van Dijk (CB)

Van Dijk enjoyed a superb international break with the Netherlands and will be full of confidence against the Hornets.

Andrew Robertson (LB)

Robertson has been defensively very strong and offensively very fruitful. His crosses will cause all sorts of problems for the Watford backline.

Xherdan Shaqiri (RCM)

Shaqiri also enjoyed a strong international break with Switzerland and will start this game on the right-hand side of central midfield.

Georginio Wijnaldum (CM)

Wijnladum will take up the No.6 role and dictate the play for the Reds in this game.

Naby Keita (LCM)

Keita will start on the left-hand side of central midfield and provide some much-needed energy to the attack.

Mohamed Salah (RW)

Salah has returned to form in the last few weeks and scored a good goal for Egypt during the international break.

Roberto Firmino (ST)

He would be fresh after playing minimal football during the international break, but the Brazilian needs to find his form.

Probably the only player who endured a tough international break, but Mane should, nevertheless, start on the left flank.
