Predicted Tottenham line-up to face Chelsea in EFL Cup semifinals

Tottenham will be aiming to put up a good performance in the first leg of the EFL Cup when they face Chelsea at Wembley stadium. Mauricio Pochettino rotated his line-up for the FA Cup game against Tranmere and got the perfect result. He would now be looking to field his stars on Tuesday and get a good result to take away for the second leg.

They are up against their London rivals in a tie that is expected to go down the wire. The key for Spurs is to score be ahead in the home leg with a gol or two and make it tough for the Blues at the Bridge in the return leg.

Team News

Eric Dier and Jan Vertonghen won’t be back until mid-January. Eric Lamela is suffering from illness and may not be fit to make the squad for Tuesday. Victor Wanyama is out with an injury and has no return date yet.
