Leicester City vs Bournemouth predictions: Leicester City line-up

After a disappointing start to life as Leicester boss, Brendan Rodgers’ side have two back-to-back wins under their belt and are high on confidence. Foxes’ hitman Jamie Vardy is back doing what he does best and has 3 goals in his last 3 games in the Premier League.

Leicester now host an unpredictable Bournemouth side who have won just one of their last 5 games. A win for the Foxes will extend the gap between them and their weekend rivals to 6 points and could jump to 9th place if results go their way.

Team news

Harry Maguire’s red card against Burnley means that the defender will be out suspended. Marc Albrighton is ruled out with a thigh problem and Daniel Amartey is yet to recover from his foot surgery.

Probable Leicester City XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Brendan Rodgers

Kasper Schmeichel (GK)

The Dane is Leicester’s undisputed first choice between the sticks and is expected to continue there on Saturday.

Ricardo Pereira (RB)

The former Porto man has had an up and down season so far in the Premier League and should look to impact more against the Cherries at the weekend.

Wes Morgan (CB)

The experienced Jamaican came on for Maguire in the 6th minute and scored the winner to give the Foxes a crucial 3 points. His leadership at the back will be very important, especially in Maguire’s absence.

Jonny Evans (CB)

After not being a regular starter at the start of the season, Evans impressed his former boss Claude Puel and has played 9 games on the trot. He has played every minute under Rodgers too and should continue there on Saturday.

Ben Chilwell (LB)

The 22-year-old has been outstanding so far this season and was deservedly called up to the national squad. He should continue at left-back this weekend.

Wilfred Ndidi (CM)

The Nigerian has only missed 32 minutes all season and has been one of the most effective players for the Foxes so far.

Youri Tielemans (CM)

The Belgian has scored a goal and provided 3 assists in his last 4 Premier League games. Rodgers will be hoping that his star midfielder continues his fine form until the end of the season.

Demarai Gray (RW)

The 22-year-old is yet to make an impact under Rodgers but has been bright whenever he has played. He should be given a chance from the start against Bournemouth.

James Maddison (CAM)

6 goals and 6 assists in his debut season in the Premier League is a fantastic return and Leicester have a real gem on their hands.

Harvey Barnes (LW)

After a fantastic spell with West Brom in the Championship, Barnes has continued to impress since his return to Leicester in January and should start again on Saturday.
