Predicted Arsenal line-up to face Bournemouth in the Premier League

Arsenal will be seeking to continue their unbeaten run in the league when they face Bournemouth in a tough away fixture at the Vitality this weekend. The Gunners are yet to a lose a game of football since getting beaten by Chelsea and Manchester City, and are looking in good stead under new manager Unai Emery.

However, the Cherries have been in fantastic form as well. Hence, it won’t be easy for the north London club as they seek revenge from the corresponding fixture last season that finished in favour of the home team.

Team News

Star men Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette were out for their national team games due to minor injuries (back and groin injury respectively). However, they should be fit in time for this game.

Mohamed Elneny and Stefan Lichtsteiner are ruled out for this game, while Nacho Monreal is fighting against time to be fit for Sunday. Danny Welbeck is ruled out for the season.

Predicted Arsenal XI

Formation: 4-2-3-1

Manager: Unai Emery

Bernd Leno (GK)

The German has taken over from Petr Cech as the first-choice keeper in the team. He single-handedly stopped Wolves a fortnight ago.

Hector Bellerin

Hector Bellerin (RB)

Bellerin’s form has been a positive point for the Gunners this season, meaning they haven’t had to use Lichtsteiner for most games.

Rob Holding (CB)

The youngster is doing well at the back and should start ahead of others in central defence.

Shkodran Mustafi (CB)

Even though Mustafi can be a train-wreck at times, his performances have been encouraging this season.

Sead Kolasinac (LB)

The Bosnian was as bad as anyone can get against Wolves. He must improve or Bournemouth might punish him.

Lucas Torreira

Lucas Torreira (CM)

The Uruguayan featured in both friendlies for his nation, however, he cannot be left out just because of the impact he has had in this Arsenal team.

Granit Xhaka (CM)

His mistake allowed Wolves to score the opener but the Swiss would come into this game in full confidence after beating Belgium 5-2.

Aaron Ramsey (CAM)

With injuries to key men in the forward line, we might see the Welshman start on Sunday.

Alex Iwobi (LW)

The Nigerian has been in great form this season, and his inclusion in the team is justified.

Mesut Ozil

Alexandre Lacazette (ST)

The Frenchman has been in terrific form this season. He is expected to be fit for the game and will start if available.

Mesut Ozil (RW)

The German got a full two-week break to get fresh and perform for the Gunners in this tough festive period. He should start on the right wing with Ramsey in the middle.
