Hughton to make 1 important change – Predicted 4-4-1-1 Brighton XI to face Tottenham

Predicted Brighton and Hove Albion Line-up To Face Tottenham In The Premier League

Brighton need one win to go to 38 points, which seems enough for them to stay in the Premier League this season.

Chris Hughton would have managed an incredible achievement if he gets the seaside town up. They have struggled at times but can mostly come out of the season with their heads held high and hitting enough points this early will allow them to start building for the summer.

They take on a Tottenham team that are still pushing for the 2nd place and it should be a good game at the Falmer Stadium.

Probable Brighton XI

Manager: Chris Hughton

Formation: 441-1

Mat Ryan (GK)

The Australian has been an excellent signing for Brighton this season and has proved that he is a very good keeper. However, he still has to learn.

Gaeten Bong (LB)

The left-back is very good going forward down the left and often gets himself into good crossing positions. His defending is a little more suspect but he has improved throughout the season.

Lewis Dunk (CB)

Brighton’s talismanic central defender has been an ever-present this season. He is always in the right place to make an essential block and has grabbed some big goals as well.

Shane Duffy

Shane Duffy (CB)

One of the surprises of the season and has looked good. Always willing to put himself on the line in both attack and defence.

Ezequiel Schelotto (RB)

The Argentine right-back has great pace and often finds himself quite far forward for Brighton. Good at creating chances and usually looks good at the back as well.

Jose Izquierdo (LM)

The tricky midfielder can go most of the game doing nothing and then pop up with a goal, which is exactly the sort of player Brighton needed when they joined the Premier League. Unpredictable, but magical on his day.

Beram Kayal (CM)

Kayal has not started many games this season but has created a good partnership with Dale Stephens over the last few games.

Dale Stephens (CM)

Has had a good season for Brighton in the centre of the park. Breaks up the play well and is always committed to the challenge.

Glenn Murray

Anthony Knockaert (RM)

Knockaert was player of the season in the Championship last year but hasn’t quite carried that form into the Premier League. Always has the ability to change the game.

Pascal Gross (AMC)

Gross has proved to be an excellent signing for Brighton this season and has 5 goals and 8 assists in 31 appearances, playing mostly just behind the striker. Has had a very good debut season in the Premier League.

Glenn Murray (ST)

Age is just a number for the ex-Palace striker and he is enjoying his best season in the Premier League by far. With 12 goals in 23 games, he will be very happy with how his season has gone.
