Huddersfield Town Player Ratings vs Burnley: Here’s how the Terriers fared

A determined second-half display from Huddersfield Town was enough to earn them a hard-earned 1-1 draw against Burnley at Turf Moor.

Sam Vokes headed Burnley into a first-half lead but Christopher Schindler grabbed the equaliser for David Wagner’s side after the interval.

It was a fighting show from Town, who dominated possession and deserved to win. But they had to be content with a point against Sean Dyche’s Burnley.

Jonas Lossl – 6/10

Lossl saved a big Vokes header but had no chance to stop the second.

Erik Durm – 7/10

Used the ball very well down the right flank and always made himself available to receive the ball. Kept Aaron Lennon at bay.

Christopher Schindler – 7/10

Failed to get anywhere near Vokes’ towering header. Redeemed himself by scoring the equaliser and stayed solid at the back.

Mathias Jorgensen – 7/10

Didn’t do anything wrong and was a rock at the back. Passed the ball well from the defence.

Chris Lowe – 7/10

Provided crisp and clean deliveries from the left once again. Showed good energy down the left wing and created an excellent goal for Schindler.

Jonathan Hogg – 8/10

Classy on the ball and anchored the midfield. Did everything right at Turf Moor to help Huddersfield earn a point.

Aaron Mooy – 7/10

Dictated the tempo of the game when Huddersfield chased the game. Proved to be a real threat to the Burnley defence and tested Joe Hart with a stinging shot.

Alex Pritchard – 8/10

Looked lively and caused plenty of problems for the Burnley defenders. He was a menace with his dribbling skills and intelligent movement off the ball.

Phillip Billing – 7/10

Recycled possession very well as he helped the Terriers dominate possession in the second half.

Rajiv van La Parra – 6/10

Was wasteful in possession at times. Created a lot of space for himself and his teammates but his crossing lacked the end product.

Laurent Depoitre – 5/10

Worked tirelessly and got into some great positions but it clearly wasn’t his day.

Substitutes

Isaac Mbenza – 5/10

Made an excellent challenge in the stoppage time to prevent a break from Vydra.
