Hazard To PSG? No Problem: 3 Super Replacements For Hazard At Chelsea

Share

Eden Hazard could be on his way out of Chelsea, either by choice or by force. The Chelsea attacker hasn’t been himself this season and well even Chelsea could be looking to cash in on the rumours that the Belgian would be looking to move to PSG.

The Blues also know that they would get a bucket of money from the Paris club and that has happened earlier as well with the sale of David Luiz to the Paris club. Hazard has only scored two goals in the entire campaign and hasn’t looked like the player he was last season for the team from London.

Eden Hazard

Maybe a move to another club will suit Hazard but what about Chelsea? They haven’t had the best of luck when it comes to attackers with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Juan Cuadrado and Marko Marin all failing to make it big at the club.

Here are three alternatives to the Belgian attacker that Chelsea would do well with if they can sign them.

  1. Marco Reus

Who doesn’t want Marco Reus in their team? The German has found his scoring form this season for Borussia Dortmund and is one reason why the team are up in second place in the Bundesliga. Reus might have been prone to injury last season but that seems to be a thing of the past for the attacker.

He might not be the player he was pre-2014 but he still is one of the best attackers out there. He can play on either wing and as a striker which will be great news for Chelsea fans, the only stumbling block would be the price tag but Chelsea have the money to break a deal for the 26-year-old.

2. Antoine Griezmann

With rumours circulating that Diego Simeone is the next manager of Chelsea, it would be no surprise if the Argentine brought a few players from Atletico Madrid to Chelsea. One player who has been constantly linked with a move to the English side is Antoine Griezmann.

The 24-year-old has been in incredible form for the other team from Madrid and has scored 44 goals for them in just 87 appearances, not bad for someone who plays more in the wing than as a striker. Fast, tricky and a hard worker, he could be everything that Hazard was and much more at the club.

3. Julian Draxler

We all know the talent that Draxler is and the move from Schalke to Wolfsburg doesn’t really make that much sense for the German attacker. Draxler should have taken a bigger step up and probably moving from the Bundesliga would make more sense.

Chelsea haven’t had the best of luck when it comes to German attackers, Marin and Schurrle are prime examples of that but under a new manager Draxler could become the player that he is supposed to be. He is only 22 at the moment but there is no time like now to get better and Chelsea could well help him become a world beater.
