The Premier League is back in action this weekend and that means Fantasy Premier League players will be trying to find out just who to include in their team and who they can leave out. The nature of the Premier League makes predicting just which player will do well for his club that much harder. Apart from scoring the points, it is also about taking on your friends or random people and try to be the best scorer from the weekend.
Fret not, we have some tips up our sleeves and these are just some teams and players you can include into your Fantasy Premier League squad. Hopefully, you will have the money to make the substitutions.
Who is in?
Liverpool FC
The one team who is in-form at the moment is the Red half of Merseyside. Liverpool have been exceptional since the start of the New Year and even getting knocked out of Europe does not seem to have had any negative effect in their season. Liverpool do have distractions from the FA Cup but their next game is on Monday, giving them ample time to rest.
Swansea better be ready to take on Liverpool, especially since the Reds are looking to make it into the top 4 once again. The best bet are players like Emre Can and Simon Mignolet, while Can has been instrumental in the Liverpool defence. Mignolet has been outstanding since his return to the starting XI and he could keep another clean sheet against the Swans.
Saido Berahino
The form of the English striker has picked up over the past 4 matches. Berahino might have slowed down after a blistering start to the season but now has scored thrice in the last 4 games. West Bromwich Albion take on Stoke City this weekend and have not been able to score in 8 of the last 11 appearances against Stoke but this could be the chance for Berahino to break that stat as Albion play at the Hawthorns.
Harry Kane
Not only do Spurs take on Manchester United, who are having a rather torrid season, even though they are in 4th. Spurs are actually unbeaten in their last 5 games against United, something which has only been done once earlier in the Premier League era. Kane has been brilliant for Spurs this season and will hope to continue his goal scoring exploits for the North London club, he has scored in 6 consecutive away games in the Premier League and will be looking to make it 7 as Spurs play at Old Trafford.
