It is time for another Premier League weekend and the tie of the round has to be Arsenal facing Manchester City in the game on Monday night. That would pit two of the best players in the league, Mesut Ozil and Yaya Toure going head to head and the player with the better performance could well take a big step to winning the league title or at least, being the team that tries to chase Leicester down.
There are a few other tasty ties with Everton hosting high-flying Leicester and a relegation six-pointer with Sunderland travelling to Chelsea. With so many big games, it would be tough to decide who should be part of your Fantasy Premier League team but here are five players who should be part of your team this weekend.
5.Romelu Lukaku
The Belgian now has scored in seven consecutive games for the Blues and can’t stop scoring at all. He is the second highest scorer in the league behind Jamie Vardy and with Everton hosting Leicester, who can’t seem to keep a clean sheet, who would bet against the 22-year-old Lukaku from getting another goal against the Premier League’s top team?
4. Mesut Ozil
The Arsenal midfielder got another assist, his 13TH assist of the season helped the Gunners defeat a rather insipid Aston Villa and with Arsenal facing Manchester City, it could well be Ozil who does the damage for the team from London. Ozil would be the key for the Gunners and if the German does play how he has been playing this season, he could well lead Arsenal to another victory.
3. Georginio Wijnaldum
Wijnaldum has found another gear, after scoring twice, well once against Liverpool, he was at it again against Newcastle when he was responsible for one of the goals that helped the Toons get an important win away from home. Newcastle host Aston Villa this time around and it could well be a game where Wijnaldum shows what he is capable of doing, especially to a club doing as poorly as Aston Villa and scores a few Fantasy Premier League points.
2. Jack Butland
Probably the most impressive goalkeeper of the season thus far, the 22-year-old been a rock for Stoke City as they have done well. Although the eyes have been on the likes of Xherdan Shaqiri and Bojan Krkic, it is actually Butland who has done the most for the team this season and another clean sheet like he got against West Ham could well send him on to become the number 1 for England as well.
Another game, another goal and another win, Ighalo and Watford are doing the business and the club could well be looking to pick up another win as they host Liverpool on Sunday. The Reds aren’t doing all that great and needed a last minute equalizer against West Brom and with Dejan Lovren out with an injury, Ighalo could well get another goal or two against a shaky defence.
