Fantasy Premier League Tips – Gameweek 7

Gameweek 7 is upon us and Premier League fans will be scrambling to make changes to their Fantasy Premier League sides. With this being the final game week before the international break, all clubs will be looking for maximum points.

There are a couple of big games lined up this weekend with the Chelsea vs Manchester City fixture being the most exciting one. There have been a few of major incidents this week, with some of the popular Fantasy Premier League players set to miss out. While Benjamin Mendy is likely to be sidelined for the rest of the season with a ruptured ACL, Sergio Aguero could also miss out after suffering a broken rib in a car accident in Amsterdam.

It will be a big blow for Pep Guardiola who face the in-form Chelsea on Saturday. Injuries aside, let’s take a look at a few players who could bag you some precious FPL points this weekend.

Oumar Niasse

Having joined Everton from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2016, Niasse never really got a chance to show his skills, with Ronald Koeman sending out the player on loan to Hull City. He found quite a bit of success with the Tigers, scoring 5 goals in 17 appearances. But with the club getting relegated from the League, the Senegal man returned to Goodison Park this season.

Ronald Koeman never quite had him in his plans for this season as he did not include the Senegalese striker in Everton’s Europa League squad. But it looks like the Dutchman might end up regretting his decision, as Niasse looked sensational, scoring against Sunderland and Bournemouth. With a FPL price tag of just £5m, the 27-year-old is definitely worth a go this week.

Marcos Alonso

Although the Spanish left-back hasn’t been his usual self in the Premier League over the last couple of weeks, he managed to make an impact for Chelsea in UCL earlier this week. Cesar Azpilicueta was stealing the limelight for a while by linking up with Morata but Alonso could be the one to watch out for this week when they take on Manchester City.

Jack Wilshere

The English midfielder made a comeback to the Arsenal first team in the game against BATE in the Europa League and looked really impressive. Playing in Mesut Ozil’s position higher up the field, Wilshere completely bewitched the BATE defence and was Arsenal’s best player behind Theo Walcott. Wilshere definitely deserves a place in your FPL team.
