For quite some time now, Atlético Madrid’s Koke has been linked with a move away from the La Liga giants. The club who are keen on signing him are the champions of England, Chelsea, who have not had the best of starts to the new league campaign and are now looking to sign Diego Simeone’s priced possession. Further, it seems now the 23-year-old Spanish international has confirmed that he has no intention of leaving, at least for the foreseeable future.
In a recent interview, relayed by Calciomercato, the player’s agent Iñaki Espizua stated, “Today, we only think about Atlético. The will of the player is to stay at this club, with whom we have an extraordinary relationship. There is no reason to think about anything else. There have always been talk of it, he is a top player and it’s normal that big clubs are thinking about him.”
However, one thing is still certain that the Blues are desperate for reinforcements and might look to bring in Koke in the near future.
