Chelsea To Steal This Manchester United Target? Why This Is A Dream Move For The Blues

The Spanish Sojourn of Gareth Bale seems to be hitting rocky roads, Bale who was instrumental last season with Real Madrid winning their 10th Champions League crown after a gap of more than 10 years, has become the villain in a season that is slowly turning into a nightmare for the Madrid club. Bale seems to be stuck in a tug of war between the President and supporters of the club, a couple of them even attacked bale recently for his performances.

The Spanish paper Marca even had a scathing report on Bale and just why he is the main reason for all of Real Madrid’s problems this season, how the mighty fall in this unscrupulous world of football. Nevertheless, there are always escape routes and while Bale has been linked with Manchester United since his Tottenham days, it could be another London club which might try to sign the Welsh Wizard in a huge summer deal and this could be great for Chelsea if it goes through.

Bale

London is home, again

Bale might have wowed many people by playing out of his skin in the Premier League during his Tottenham days, but his performances at Real have not matched his Tottenham form. At Real, he has scored 38 goals in 83 appearances and has played a more attacking role than in his Tottenham days. Chelsea would love to have the Welsh winger in their squad and they probably would have to stump around £100 million and then a bit more in hope of signing the player.

Bale is known for his quickness and speed, often leaving a lot of opponents in his dust, he also has a great eye for that killer ball and can cross well, something that Diego Costa could use. Chelsea have one really speedy winger in Eden Hazard, but the other wingers just can’t seem to cut it. Chelsea tried getting pacey wingers in Salah, De Bruyne and Schurrle, but none of them could provide the outlet that Hazard can.

Bale would be extraordinary down the left wing, not only can he attack and attack well but he can defend as well which is huge for a team like Chelsea, Jose Mourinho loves his players, especially ones who come back and defend when the team needs it. He has earlier been critical about Hazard’s lack of defensive commitments, which would not be a problem for Bale.

If the deal does go through, it could easily be the biggest deal in the history of football as Bale is only 25 years old and still can get better while Real would be looking to recoup the money they spent on him.
