Premier League champions Chelsea are all set to sign Leon Bailey, as they look to bring more quality players to Stamford Bridge this summer. The 17-year old superstar currently plays for Slovakian outfit Trencin and has been quite impressive in recent seasons, which has caught the attention of various big clubs across Europe.
And as per reports from The Times, the youngster looks set for a move to west London. However, once the Jamaican striker does join Chelsea, he will be sent out on loan to Belgian club Racing Genk, in order to receive some first team football.
The highly-rated teenager is considered a talent for the future and will become the club’s fourth signing of the current transfer window.
Elsewhere, Chelsea full-back Filipe Luis has rejoined Atletico Madrid, one year after his move to Stamford Bridge. The Brazilian made 26 appearances for the Blues last season. He has signed a four-year deal to move back to Atletico for an undisclosed fee, reports BBC
