Chelsea Latest Including Eden Hazard And Marko Marin

Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard has been named as the most valuable player in the Premier League by International Centre for Sports Studies or CIES, which is a joint venture between FIFA and the University of Neuchatel in Switzerland.

The body comprises of top players across the world and they take into account many factors like the player’s age, performance for the club, goals scored, performance for the national side, years left on contract etc. Before reaching a figure. Based on these parameters Eden Hazard’s value lies at £43m behind Cavani, Ronaldo and Messi. Hazard’s value is the highest in the Premier League and in the list of sixty players, he is joined by teammates Mata, Oscar and Lukaku.

Eden Hazard joined the London club from Ligue 1 side Lille in 2012 and his transfer fee was a staggering forty million euros thanks to then first team coach Roberto Di Mateo who played a major role in his transfer and from the very beginning of the campaign the winger has shown tremendous potential to win over the Blues hearts. In the midfield he formed a fruitful partnership with Oscar and Mata and as they ran riot to fill in for their woeful misfiring strikers. He finished the season with nine goals from 34 league games and with the promise of much more next season onwards.

This valuation of CIES would be a feather in the cap for the 22 year old Belgian and would validate the immense effect he has had on the Blues. As Jose Mourinho will join the team next season, all the other sides of the league should be aware of the pint sized wizard.

In other news, Chelsea misfit and a certain ‘German Messi’ Marko Marin has moved to La Liga club Sevilla on a season long loan deal. The transfer completely makes sense for both the parties as the Spanish side have roped in Marin as a replacement for City bound Jesus Navas and on the other hand, Marin could grab this opportunity to prove his worth and more over with Schurrle’s arrival at the Bridge, Marin first team chances go down further.

Quoted by the BBC,

The loan deal is “subject to the completion of legal documentation and a medical”, said a Chelsea statement.
