Manchester City are looking to sign Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere in the summer, according to the Sun.

The player has been one of the most promising players in England, however, injury has been the main reason for the player’s downfall in the recent seasons.

The Gunners have brought in Mohamed Elneny in January, who will be joined by Granit Xhaka in the summer. Thus, Gunners do have many choices for the midfield and this is sure to put Wilshere lower in the pecking order.

City are looking to bring in more English players in their squad with Joe Hart, Fabian Delph and Raheem Sterling being the only English players in the squad over the last 12 months.

The 24 year old player still has time to improve his form once the injury factor gets out of the picture. The changes in the training regimes and change in the environment may work as the positive factor for the same.
